En Green Forest contamos con profesores que vienen de distintos países y enriquecen nuestra comunidad con sus conocimientos, experiencias y perspectivas culturales. Su presencia fortalece nuestra visión global y ofrece a los estudiantes la oportunidad de aprender en un ambiente diverso, abierto y humano.
My name is Hannah Oak. I am from Ohio in the United States and have a degree in Early Childhood Education with a minor in Spanish. A couple of months after graduating college, I moved to Costa Rica and started working at Green Forest School as a preschool teacher and coordinator.
I consider my experience at the school extremely valuable and am very thankful for it! During my time there, I built a strong community with coworkers—many who are now lifelong friends—while also having the opportunity to be creative and implement new ideas in the classroom. I especially loved connecting with my students, supporting them, and watching them grow throughout the years.
Working in a new and unique environment allowed me to gain valuable experience. I also loved being able to practice my Spanish with the staff and spend so much time outdoors! I learned and grew as a teacher and professional, and had so much fun in the process!
